Kako smo u posljednje vrijeme svjedočili čudnovatim događajima s razornim, štetnim i destruktivnim učincima na opremu i objekte širom svijeta, te kojekakvim teorijama vezano za energetsko oružje usmjerene energije DEW (Directed Energy Weapons), odlučili smo podijeliti s vama objavu sa službene stranice Vlade Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva koja govori upravo o tom spornom oružju kao o energetskom oružju budućnosti.

Vizija Ministarstva obrane Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva (MOD) je učiniti oružje usmjerene energije stvarnim izborom za naše oružane snage a koje može doprinijeti odlučujućoj oštricii i održati stratešku prednost. Ministarstvo obrane trenutno ulaže u nekoliko visokovrijednih pokaznih projekata, uključujući DragonFire i nekoliko projekata koji integriraju RF i laserske sustave u vojne platforme.
DASA podržava napore odjela da razumiju sljedeće korake potrebne za razvoj i uvođenje usmjerenog energetskog oružja u službu na kopnu, moru i u zraku.
Opseg
Ovo područje fokusa na inovacije traži prijedloge koji predstavljaju ideje koje bi doprinijele raspoređivanju prve generacije oružja usmjerene energije i koje bi pomogle u donošenju odluka naslovljenih odjela Ministarstva obrane kao što je gore opisano.
Zainteresirani smo za nove ideje u poboljšanju performansi i/ili smanjenju veličine, mase i volumena sljedećih sustava i podsustava povezanih s laserskim i RF oružjem usmjerene energije:
- Tehnologija laserskog i RF izvora:
- Pojačala
- Magnetroni
- Tehnologija vlakana
- Dizajn antene
- Automatizacija sustava:
- Prepoznavanje cilja
- Odabir ciljne točke
- Određivanje prioritetnog cilja
- Upravljanje angažmanom
- Napredne tehnologije napajanja i hlađenja koje se u konačnici mogu integrirati u vojne platforme
- Kontrola snopa
- Fino pokazivanje i praćenje
- Rad u nepovoljnim okolišnim uvjetima
- Umnožavanje
- Otkrivanje cilja
- Male pojedinačne mete
- Predviđanje borbene štete
- Test i evaluacija
- Sposobnost naznačavanja učinka postignutog daljinski i na male brze mete u stvarnom vremenu.
- Generički dijagnostički alati i tehnike za označavanje zrake usmjerenog energetskog oružja.
Od uspješnih dobavljača tražit će se da dostave rezultate u obliku izvješća, prezentacija i/ili demonstracija inovacija koje bi trebalo detaljno navesti kao dio ponude. Suradnja dobavljača se potiče kako bi se omogućilo da se svi čimbenici uzmu u obzir tijekom projekata, međutim nije obvezna.
Pojašnjenje
Tražimo prijedloge koji:
- pokazati kreativan ili inovativan pristup unutar gore opisanih područja
- su između Razina tehnološke spremnosti (TRL) 2 -6
- imaju predložene vrijednosti projekta između 50.000 i 200.000 funti, s maksimalno dostupnih 500.000 u ovom trenutku
- imaju maksimalno trajanje projekta od 12 mjeseci
Ne tražimo prijedloge koji:
- su identična ponovljena predaja prethodnih ponuda DASA-i ili MOD-u bez izmjena
- pružaju rješenja koja su već komercijalni proizvodi
- samo pregledi literature
- će ponuditi demonstracije gotovih proizvoda koji ne zahtijevaju eksperimentalni razvoj (osim ako se ne primjenjuju na novi način i izazov)
- ne nude stvarne dugoročne izglede za integraciju u obrambene i sigurnosne svrhe
- ne nude nikakve stvarne izglede nadmašiti konkurentska postojeća tehnološka rješenja
Eksploatacija
Za kratkoročne financirane projekte (<2 godine), eksploatacijski put će se pojaviti kroz nekoliko nadolazećih odluka o sposobnostima i unutar šireg istraživačkog programa.
Za dugoročnije projekte (2+ godine) cilj će biti iskorištavanje relevantnih inovacija u nabavi obrambenog oružja usmjerene energije, što će vjerojatno biti putem strateških dobavljača obrane.
